CCTV supply, installation and phone viewing for homes, flats, restaurants, shops and offices across Ashok Nagar, including neat retrofits in older buildings that were never wired for cameras.
Our office is in neighbouring Kodambakkam, a short drive from Ashok Nagar.
Ashok Nagar was laid out in the 1960s as a planned residential colony, with numbered avenues and, from the 1970s, Tamil Nadu Housing Board flats. Today it mixes long-standing independent houses, older flats, newer apartment blocks built on redeveloped plots, and a busy commercial side of restaurants, eateries, shops and finance offices.
That mix means no two jobs look the same. A 40-year-old house needs cameras added without chasing walls; a new apartment block needs gate, lift and stilt-parking coverage; a restaurant needs a clear view of the cash counter. We plan each system around the building in front of us.
Because our office is in Kodambakkam, right next door, Ashok Nagar is one of the closest areas we serve. For our city-wide service, see CCTV installation in Chennai.
Many houses and Housing Board-era flats here were built long before CCTV was common, so there are no ready cable paths, power points or a sensible place for a recorder. Retrofitting well is mostly about planning.
Where walls cannot be chased, we run cable in surface conduit along ceilings, corners and skirting so it stays neat and protected.
If an old analog system is in place, we check whether its coaxial cabling is still sound enough to reuse with HD analog cameras.
For rented flats or awkward runs, Wi-Fi cameras can work, provided the signal is reliable at each camera position. We check before recommending them.
We place the DVR or NVR somewhere ventilated, out of casual reach and close to power and internet, not inside a closed cupboard.
Older wiring often means fewer sockets. We plan the power supply, and recommend a UPS so recording continues through short outages.
In flats, we agree with neighbours or the association which common areas are covered and who can view them before installing.
In March 2026, a network of 100 CCTV cameras was launched across Ashok Nagar through a community initiative with the Lions Club and the Tamil Nadu Police, inaugurated at the R3 Ashok Nagar Police Station. Street cameras like these help with public safety on the roads.
They do not, however, show your gate close up, your car porch, your shop counter or the inside of your premises, and you cannot open them on your phone. A private system fills those gaps: it records exactly the areas you care about, and the footage is yours to review when something happens.

Gate, porch, side passage and terrace coverage, with night vision for avenue-side frontages.
Gate, lobby, lift, staircase and stilt parking cameras, with a shared monitor or phone access for the association.
Cash counter, entrance, dining area and kitchen pass views to help settle disputes and keep an eye on busy hours.
Counter, entrance and back-office cameras, with storage sized for the length of time you need to keep footage.
Entrance, billing and aisle coverage for shops along the main shopping stretches.
Gates, corridors and reception areas, with camera positions chosen to respect private spaces.
We work with brands including Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua and Honeywell, and recommend models that suit your budget and the spot each camera will cover. Browse our CCTV cameras.
Dome cameras suit ceilings in shops, lobbies and offices; bullet cameras suit gates, porches and parking.
A DVR or NVR with a hard disk sized to the number of days of footage you want to keep.
HD analog keeps costs down and can reuse coaxial cable; IP gives higher resolution and suits larger or networked premises.
We set up the mobile app so you can watch live and play back recordings. Read about the benefits of remote monitoring.
There is no fixed package price, because a retrofit in an older house and a new apartment install are very different jobs. Your quotation depends on:
Choosing cameras? Our guide on how to choose the right CCTV camera helps.
Check who is at the gate before you open it. Video door phones
Sensors on doors and windows that sound an alarm on entry. Burglar alarm systems
Biometric attendance for offices, clinics and restaurants with staff. Time and attendance systems
We install across Ashok Nagar (PIN 600083), from the Ashok Pillar junction to the numbered avenues and the area around Ashok Nagar metro station, and in the neighbouring localities below.

Yes. Our office is in Shakthi Nagar, Kodambakkam, which borders Ashok Nagar. We do not have a separate branch in Ashok Nagar; our technicians come to you from Kodambakkam.
Yes. In most older homes we run cables in neat surface conduit along ceilings and corners instead of chasing walls. Where cabling is very difficult, Wi-Fi cameras can be an option if the signal is reliable.
Often it can. If you have an older analog system, we test the existing coaxial cable and, if it is in good condition, connect new HD analog cameras to it, which can reduce the cost of an upgrade.
Public street cameras cover roads, not the details of your gate, porch, shop counter or interior, and you cannot view them yourself. Your own system records the areas that matter to you and lets you check them on your phone.
It depends on the number and type of cameras, resolution, how many days of recording you need, cable length and routing, whether existing cable can be reused, and power backup. We give an itemised quotation after seeing the property.
Yes. For associations we cover gates, lobbies, lifts, staircases and parking, and agree viewing access. For restaurants we cover the cash counter, entrance, dining area and kitchen pass.
